A first draft is just a beginning. In order for a story or an essay to reach its full potential, you have to be willing to sit with it and ask some important questions about what it is that you’re really trying to say and how close you are to saying it in your current draft.
I wrote “Journaling Your Way Through Revision” because I struggled a lot with revising my stories. My hope is that this guide will help you to revise with clarity and confidence and help you to figure out your own revision process.
